You are right about putting this sauce on cold—don’t do it. If applied in the way you descried, this is a GREAT sauce! The cheapest time to buy this bbq sauce is Memorial Day at your local Bob Evans restaurant. Thanks for a great post!

Unfortunately, the fat, skin, and soft bone is usually chopped up with most BBQ that involves cooking the whole pig. If you think it's a lot of work chopping the pig with knives; can you imagine picking out all the pieces of fat, skin, and soft bone/cartilage. It's pretty much always gonna be part of whole hog BBQ. Delicious! Just finished, marinated fillets in Italian dressing overnight, then cut into 3 pieces and grilled 4 min per side, BBQ sauce on 2nd side. We used boars's head sweet BBQ, we love sweet baby ray's but bought this on sale and is was sweeter if you like sweet sauce, must try this! Thanks for the recipe!

Can't wait to try grilling with the husk left on. I've used aluminum foil also. I add butter, garlic salt, pepper, and squeeze some lime juice right before serving. I have to second what Frank said. It would be one thing if Oval actually shared grilling tips, but to just state that his/her method is better is rude and pointless.

I love grills. They are so much fun in the summer. Its so nice to have a nice meal with friends and enjoy some sunshine and a nice fire late at night. I can't wait to get mine out this year.

I used the tin-foil method and added a generous squish of lime juice (breaks down the corn to make it more digestable). The corn turned out great, and lime gave enough flavor that no one noticed the reduced butter and salt.

Okay, since so many folks mentioned Sweet Baby Rays, I gotta share this...

This is certainly not a "healthy option" so use is sparingly, but it's one of the best sauces I've EVER tasted was:

1 cup Sweet Baby Rays (Honey)
1/2 cup pure honey
4 Tbs butter

Heated and well mixed...wow!
